How should a university be launched? Instead of Fulbright’s faculty members developing the entire undergraduate experience on their own, this fall Fulbright will be conducting the Co-Design Year: one academic year where leading faculty members and staff from around the world will be joined by 55 students to experience and refine Fulbright’s undergraduate program.
This opportunity is unique. Not only will this be the only time that the Co-Design Year is conducted at Fulbright, but it will also be the first time it has been conducted in Vietnam. The Co-Design Year will allow Fulbright to hone various aspects of the undergraduate program, from student government to experiential learning across Vietnam, and will also enable our university to create a culture where students are engaged and empowered.
STUDENTS FOR THE CO-DESIGN YEAR
55 students will join us in the 2018-2019 Co-Design Year. These students will support the launch of Vietnam’s first independent, private, not-for-profit university.
All Co-Design Year students will:

Be guaranteed a spot in Fulbright University Vietnam’s inaugural class in fall of 2019.
Receive one semester of academic credit for their Co-Design Year coursework.
Be eligible for need-based financial aid, in addition to the FUV Founding Scholarship.
